Camellia Bailey (née Jiles) is an illustrator and character designer working in Ruston, LA. In 2020, she graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. Since then, she has done illustration work for Scholastic Inc. and the Ruston Cultural District. She also currently co-owns a small original art business named Sister Shop with her sister Chlese, which has been featured in Bayou Life Magazine and at numerous local pop-up locations. In recent years, Camellia’s work has been exhibited in shows such as the “W.O.W. (Women’s Outstanding Works) Exhibition” at Art in the Atrium (2024), “The Exhibition Where a Gallery Exhibits Anime Art” at the Trolley Barn Gallery (2024), and the Gallery Nucleus “Power in Numbers 8 Exhibition” (2023). Her work “Luna” is also featured as public art in Downtown Ruston, LA.
